Definitions

The Definitions page is a reference view of every object type in the ArchNGN metamodel and the fields that describe them. Use it to look up what each field means, which values are allowed, and which fields are required when creating objects.

For each object type, Definitions lists:

  • Field name: The attribute as it appears in the Registry
  • Description: A short explanation of what the field captures
  • Type: Text, enumeration, reference, date, or boolean
  • Allowed values: For enumerated fields (e.g., Lifecycle Status), the complete list of options
  • Required: Whether the field must be populated when creating the object
  • Creating objects manually: Confirm the meaning of a field or pick the correct value from an enumeration
  • Designing imports: Check the expected field names and value sets before preparing a bulk import file
  • Working with associations: Look up the supported association labels and interaction types

Open Definitions from the left sidebar. The page is read-only and reflects the current metamodel for your account. Account Admins can extend or adjust object-type definitions; see Account Settings for the workflow.
